k cup filter problem:
The k cup leaks alot, but this problem is easy to fix and will make a great cup of coffee. How to fix, first will filter 3/4 full with coffee and screw on k cup top, then put a piece of foil over the k cup top and this will stop the leaking and will make a great cup of coffee every time. I believe, the problem is the hole on the k cup lid,is to big and makes it leak, but by adding a piece of foil the problem is gone. PS------ I HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU.
Disappointed:
With nothing in the enclosed literature to recommend what grind coffee to be used, I used my regular, off-the-shelf coffee as well as a fine grind of special blend only to have the same result...water seeping around the perimeter of the coffee distribution area of the coffee maker, missing the cup and making a mess. When I called regarding the problem, I was advised that coarse grind coffee is what should be used with the reusable filter. Haven't checked that out yet.
Really like this:
I find that I can use my left over coffee from before I purchased my single cup maker. It works really well and costs a lot less than just using the K-cups.
Must Have for Keurig owners:
This little contraption is a must own, especially if your favorite coffees are not available as k-cups. The biggest problem with most k-cups is that they do not contain enough coffee to make a strong standard size mug-full. I use it with Starbucks coffee. If you fill the filter basket to the top (or nearly the top), you will get MUCH stronger tasting coffee. I use standard auto drip size grinds. If you make sure to screw the cap on it, it will not leak or let grinds into your coffee mug. I honestly do not... more info
